Some macros from the third week of my class at the
Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Since the class was about photography at dusk, I really concentrated on trying to capture the light and shadows on the flowers.

Stunning! The center of the first flower looks almost like coral or some sort of seaweed.

Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could say that it was a good class, but it really wasn't. It was supposed to be a class on photography at dusk, so I thought we would be learning about techniques, but my teacher didn't really teach us anything. She just let us roam around the Garden and shoot and then would ask if we had questions. She did say one thing that stuck with me: "expose for the light." I started to try to do that in third and the fourth weeks. But, really, the best thing about the class was being able to walk around the Garden after hours when there were only a handful of us there.
Wow...I love all of these!
