Brooklyn Botanic Gardens-May 9, 2011 Part 2

These are the last of my photos from my class at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. I mentioned before that I wasn't too impressed with the class. My teacher really didn't teach me anything that I didn't already know. She did, however, say one thing that stuck in my head: "Expose for the light." She meant that it's okay if only one part of the photo is correctly exposed and the rest is in shadow, because it will show the drama of how the scene really looked. So I really tried to focus on doing that in the last class.









I couldn't decide which of these I like better, so I'm just going to post both:

I finally edited my photos from my last class at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. I have a lot of photos, so I am going to break them up into two posts.

I wish the bee were sharper here, but it was really fast.
